Telemarketing Managing Director joins the IoD committee
Chris Walthew, Managing Director, has been elected to the committee for the Institute of Director (IoD) Cambridgeshire Branch.
The IoD Cambridgeshire Branch covers the historic county of Cambridgeshire and PE post codes of South Lincolnshire.
The role of IoD Cambridgeshire is to provide, within the scope of the IoD's charter, for the needs of local IoD members. This is a challenging remit because the 1100 or so Cambridgeshire members are made up from a diverse cross-section of people. Nevertheless, the Branch has developed an ambitious three-year plan that was put into effect from January 2006.
Under the leadership of its Chairman, Chris Parkhouse, the committee that represents local members' interests has put together a diary of events that is likely to appeal to a wide range of people.
Chris, an IoD member since 2006, states,
“It’s a great honour to be elected to this committee, and I look forward to working with other IOD members in Cambridgeshire over the next year. There will be some great events coming up, and lots of chances for members to get together for both social and business events.”
