Marketing turns to music for Cambridge Director

For the last three years, Beth has been performing around the UK with her band.
‘Mixing Prospect Research with being a songwriter has been great’, Beth says. ‘I
always have to watch which business card I’m giving out. I don’t know how much
use a song would be to someone wanting marketing advice!’

Beth trained as a classical singer with teachers from the Royal Northern College of
Music, before moving to London, singing with the London Symphony Chorus.
However, the move to Cambridge also brought about a move to writing original
music which Beth describes as ‘a cross between the soul of Dusty Springfield and
modern day pop’.

Beth is launching her album by giving a free gig with her band at B Bar at 7pm, on
Sunday 30th May. £1 from each album sale on the night will be donated to East
Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH). Lovers and Liars is available to preview and
