Charity benefits from quiz

Cambridge-based business development consultancy, Prospect Research, is delighted to have raised over £2,000 from their 4th annual charity quiz in aid of EACH (East Anglia Children’s Hospice).

On 18th April, in the refined surroundings of Emmanuel College, 13 teams vied for the title of ‘Smartest Company in Cambridgeshire’. We were fortunate to have EACH’s Chief Executive, Graham Butland, back again as our quiz master, dispensing his customarily fiendish questions.

The quiz was as closely fought as ever. Early leaders, Emmanuel 6 from Red Gate Software, managed to hold on for victory but were nearly caught up by a late charge from Mission Improbable, one of Prospect Research’s teams.

The raffle and auction were well supported, and local companies won prizes donated by Scudamores, Peterborough Greyhounds, Cambridge Wine Merchants, Barr Ellison, Parklands and Cambridge Lakes Golf Course.

Our sincere thanks also to Graham Butland and Debbie Fairhurst from EACH, Emmanuel College for their hospitality, and all the participants for their enthusiasm and generosity on the night.

Congratulations to Red Gate Software on their victory and look forward to the next quiz in the Spring of 2014.  To receive information about our next quiz, please email Beth Walthew with your contact details.
