Maximising Employer Engagement for KTPs
Last month, we employed an intern through our long- standing client, Anglia Ruskin University, to assist in our marketing department and are thinking of continuing this as a KTP. We want to promote these services as much as possible as it has helped massively with implementing projects we have wanted to do for years but haven’t quite had the resources.
HEFCE recently announced that funding for KTPs will remain at £160 million, with funding for both universities and colleges totaling £3.96 billion. These figures demonstrate the importance of KTPs in society and that every HE institution should be taking advantage of them!
What you have to ask yourself is; How many other businesses are sitting waiting for you to actively approach them? Maybe they don’t even know that a KTP would be the way to implement outstanding projects! Prospect Research can offer you a solution: maximising your employer engagement. We have a history of working with a range of universities and HE institutions, supporting their employer engagement campaigns.
We have been working with The University of West England and they have been overjoyed with their results:
“Prospect Research has been a fantastic company to work with. Right from day one, Tom, Connor, Jan and their colleagues hit the ground running – quickly getting up to speed with whatever program we asked them to focus on. They have been an integral part of recent research, business engagement and knowledge exchange related activities, essentially acting like part of our extended team. The outcomes have ranged from two confirmed Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and a contract to deliver a large in-house training programme, to graduate internships and summer vacancies for our undergraduates. Prospect has really helped us to deliver on our commitment to supporting enterprise and economic growth in the South West region. They have been committed, customer focused, passionate and flexible. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.”
