Going into the Dragons Den at Sawston Village College
What do tie-dye baby grows, decorative candles and personalised phone covers have in common?
All were business ideas from Year 10 students at Sawston Village College yesterday, who have been working together in their mini companies to pitch to investment ‘Dragons’.
I was very pleased to be one of the Dragons to help out Young Enterprise, a charity that has been working with the students to help them develop their business ideas and bring them to market. I doubt that I was as scary as Peter Jones (and definitely nowhere near as tall), but it really was great to see the passion and ideas from the students towards their business ideas.
Young Enterprise is the UK’s leading enterprise education charity, empowering young people to learn, to work, to live for over 50 years.
